{"id":2038,"date":"2004-05-18T20:59:22","date_gmt":"2004-05-19T00:59:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.kith.org\/journals\/vardibidian\/2004\/05\/18\/2038.html"},"modified":"2018-03-12T16:46:05","modified_gmt":"2018-03-12T21:46:05","slug":"bondcote-sop-lead-paint-yadda","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kith.org\/vardibidian\/2004\/05\/18\/bondcote-sop-lead-paint-yadda\/","title":{"rendered":"Bondcote, SOP, Lead Paint, yadda yadda yadda"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Your Humble Blogger would like to blame every damn&#8217; thing on Our Current President and his Busheviki, but like everything else, it&#8217;s more complicated than that.\n<p>So when I hear that a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bondcote.com\/\">company<\/a> has been treating tents, tarpaulins and other fabrics destined for our servicemen with carcinogenics, and has in fact <a href=\"http:\/\/www.roanoke.com\/roatimes\/news\/story167128.html\">pled guilty<\/a> to having falsely claimed that the materials had been tested, <I>and is still selling tents to the DoD<\/I>, I should be shocked. I want to be shocked. I want to blame Our Only President, as if this couldn&#8217;t possibly have happened under Our Previous President. But, really, this is likely SOP and has been for years.\n<p>&nbsp;\n<p>So, OK: Positive thought: it is, in fact, being reported in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ajc.com\/news\/content\/news\/0304\/27milsuit.html\">newspapers<\/a>.\n<p>Negative thought: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flanaganinternational.com\/accomplishments.htm\">John Flanagan<\/a> is a &#8220;recognized industry leader&#8221; who gets paid for his &#8220;turnaround expertise for manufacturing companies&#8221;.\n<p>Positive thought: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2004\/US\/03\/30\/pentagon.lead\/\">Sen. Grassley (R-IA)<\/a>, a very conservative fellow indeed, gave former Secretary Rumsfeld at least a little bit of grief about it.\n<p>Negative thought: Donald Rumsfeld isn&#8217;t actually the former Defense Secretary.\n<p>Positive thought: Yet.\n<p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;,<br>-Vardibidian.\n<\/p>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Your Humble Blogger would like to blame every damn\u2019 thing on Our Current President and his Busheviki, but like everything else, it\u2019s more complicated than that.
