In large part that\u2019s because I\u2019ve been down with the plague\u2014I had a brief and asymptomatic bout in July, and then have an unpleasantly symptomy version for the last couple of weeks\u2014but also because I haven\u2019t had much to say on anything of interest, even to me.\r\n<p>Well, and the narrow time came, and Rosh Hashanah came, and the Days of Awe came, and now it\u2019s Erev Yom Kippur, and I still don\u2019t have much to say on anything of interest, even to me. Alas. Maybe next year.\r\n<p>In the meantime, I re-read <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kith.org\/vardibidian\/tag\/isaiah116-17\">what I wrote about Isaiah 1:16-17<\/a>, and it was certainly better than anything I would be likely to write this year.\r\n<p>I hope to return to blogging at least occasionally in 5783, although I have no idea what I will feel like writing about. Maybe I\u2019ll blog more of the books I read. Or I\u2019ll write more about kite flying, or music, or make random lists of things. Your suggestions gratefully appreciated and possibly even acted upon.\r\n<p>At any rate: <i>g\u2019mar tov<\/i> to all you Gentle Readers of this Tohu Bohu, and may you be sealed for a year of happiness and health, sweetness and stability.
