I don’t particularly like it; it seems to be, well, a bad sequel to a good book. Or even a bad sequel to a great movie made from a great book. I hate to say anything bad about Roald Dahl, who is one of Your Humble Blogger’s great favourites, but this book is weak and uninspired, particularly when compared to any of his great accomplishments such as the BFG or James.\n
Well, and that’s too harsh. It’s just not great, and a Willy Wonka book should be great. Anyway, if you haven’t read it, my advice is not to bother, and to re-read the Chocolate Factory again. It might be better for children, who at least (as I dimly remember enjoying it) will enjoy just returning to the world.\n
&nbsp &nbsp &nbsp &nbsp &nbsp &nbsp ,
-Vardibidian.\n<\/p>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
YHB happened to have extra time on his hands, and was near a copy of Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator, so add another book to the list.
