After finishing Komarr, which took me a while to get around to noting, but not this long.

Anyway, after two weeks, I don’t remember a damn’ thing about the experience of re-reading the thing again. That’s one thing about reading trifling (if vastly entertaining) books over and over again. It’s like describing the last-but-two pizza I ate. Um, I’m sure it was fine, but, um, yeah, I’m sure it was fine. And now I’ve got three books stacked up on the must-make-notes pile, and two of the books are rather thick paperbacks, so if I don’t get a couple of these off the stack before I finish re-reading Hans Brinker the whole thing will topple over onto my foot. And I’ll deserve it. And that’s not to mention that I am three weeks behind on the parshah notes. And it’s hard to concentrate on blogging when I’m listening to the Giants on the radio for the first time since 3rd October. Not because the game is interesting, except in a “the ball gets away from Matheny” sort of way, but it’s baseball! Maybe I’ll go out before it gets dark and see if yesterday’s snow killed all those daffodils.

Thank you,
-Vardibidian.

Well, and I’ve no idea when I actually re-read A Civil Campaign, but it was sometime in February.
