The Regular version \u201chas a slightly distressed feel, with uneven edges\u201d; the New version \u201cremade the entire font from scratch, in order to clean up all the outlines (to remove the \u2018distressed\u2019 quality) and give it a lighter, more elegant, calligraphic look.\u201d<\/dd>\r\n  <dt><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mytolkienbooks.com\/tolkien-fonts\/\">Baynes<\/a><\/dt>\r\n  <dd>A font \u201cinspired by the typography that appeared on Pauline Baynes\u2019 classic Middle-earth maps.\u201d My initial thought was <i>What does this have to do with Tolkien? It\u2019s obviously based on Pauline Baynes\u2019s Narnia illustrations!<\/i> But nope, I was wrong.
