I had never heard that term before.<\/p>\r\n<p>Wikipedia <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Three-point_turn#Naming\">adds<\/a> that it\u2019s also known as a <i>Y-turn<\/i>, which I\u2019ve also never heard before.<\/p>\r\n<p>And coincidentally, this morning I saw a Facebook post of mine from 2015 in which I described a cabbie\u2019s complicated turn pattern to get through an intersection, and referred to it as an <i><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/jed.hartman\/posts\/10206796152522319\">N-turn<\/a><\/i>. Kat helpfully provided a diagram in comments.<\/p>\r\n<p>So now I\u2019m wondering about what turns look like for other letters.
