The OED wrote <a href=\"https:\/\/public.oed.com\/appeals\/youth-words\/\">a blog post<\/a> asking for help \u201cidentifying the language used by children and teenagers today\u201d. Hilarity has ensued, and we are all now down with the lingo of the youths. I can inform my teenage child that <i>yeet<\/i> has been brought to the attention of the OED.\r\n<p>In a column called <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/commentisfree\/2018\/sep\/21\/oxford-english-dictionary-young-people-slang\"> It\u2019s bare sick that the OED cares how young people speak<\/a>, Coco Khan (who insists she did not write the headline) introduces me to a word I had not been familiar with: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.urbandictionary.com\/define.php?term=peng\">peng<\/a>.
