Today, I have been repeatedly asked \u201cDo you have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cengage.com\/c\/sexuality-now-embracing-diversity-5e-carroll\"><cite>Sexuality Now<\/cite><\/a>?\u201d I have so far manfully refrained from replying \u201cNot just at the moment, no, but ask me again after work.\u201d I have also often been asked \u201cDo you have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cengage.com\/c\/gendered-lives-communication-gender-and-culture-13e-wood\/9781337555883\"><cite>Gendered Lives<\/cite><\/a>?\u201d While in truth I have had only one life, it has indeed been gendered, occasionally to my irritation. This is presumably because we have <a href=\"https:\/\/global.oup.com\/academic\/product\/the-gendered-society-9780190260316?cc=us&amp;lang=en&amp;\"><cite>The Gendered Society<\/cite><\/a>.\r\n<p>My personal favorite is being asked \u201cDo you have <cite><a href=\"http:\/\/books.wwnorton.com\/books\/webad.aspx?id=4294990473\">Psychology in Your Life<\/cite><\/a>?\u201d Yes. Yes, I do have psychology in my life, thank you for asking. On the other hand, being asked if I have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.macmillanlearning.com\/Catalog\/product\/abnormalpsychology-tenthedition-comer\"><cite>Abnormal Psychology<\/cite><\/a> is a trickier proposition. Do I have <a href=\"https:\/\/he.kendallhunt.com\/product\/connections-combined-reader-and-rhetoric\"><cite>Connections<\/cite><\/a>? Well, I know a few people. Do I have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cambridge.org\/gb\/academic\/subjects\/sociology\/criminology\/street-justice-retaliation-criminal-underworld?format=HB\"><cite>Street Justice<\/cite><\/a>? Definitely not. Do I have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.penguinrandomhouse.com\/books\/2085\/rules-for-radicals-by-saul-alinsky\/9780679721130\"><cite>Rules for Radicals<\/cite><\/a>? No, the same rules apply to everyone.\r\n<p>Do I have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cengage.com\/c\/college-study-skills-becoming-a-strategic-learner-7e-van-blerkom\/9780495913511\"><cite>College Study Skills<\/cite><\/a>? Alas, no. Do I have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cengage.com\/c\/organic-chemistry-with-biological-applications-3e-mcmurry\"><cite>Organic Chemistry (with Biological Applications)<\/cite><\/a>? It seems likely. Do I have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cengage.com\/c\/personal-nutrition-10e-boyle\"><cite>Personal Nutrition<\/cite><\/a>? Yes, very.\r\n<p>The real fun comes in the English department, though. Do you have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.penguinrandomhouse.com\/books\/169680\/white-teeth-by-zadie-smith\/9780375703867\/readers-guide\/\"><cite>White Teeth<\/cite><\/a>? Do you have <a href=\"http:\/\/books.wwnorton.com\/books\/detail.aspx?ID=12185\"><cite>Stitches<\/cite><\/a>? Do you have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.macmillanlearning.com\/Catalog\/product\/monsters-firstedition-hoffman\"><cite>Monsters<\/cite><\/a>? Do you have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.littlebrown.com\/titles\/emma-donoghue\/room\/9781611138436\/\"><cite>Room<\/cite><\/a>? Do you have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.faber.co.uk\/9780571336135-plenty.html\"><cite>Plenty<\/cite><\/a>?
