My dictionary says that flagitious<\/i> is a synonym for villainous<\/i>.<\/p>\r\n
It\u2019s been used in English since the 14th century, but I don\u2019t think I\u2019ve seen it before. (I encountered it recently in a Thurber essay.)<\/p>\r\n
