By the way, YHB hasn’t been blogging about the presidential race much, lately, but this is in part because most of what I am inclined to say about the race is handicapping, which gets too much attention as it is. Suffice it to say I am optimistic, tho’ not sanguine. Even the polls that look bad for Sen. Kerry look bad for Our Only President as well; there is no sense that more than half of the electorate think he has done a good job, or that the country is heading in the right direction. Given that, it will be a bit difficult for the incumbent to get more than half the vote.
Unless people change their minds.
I would like to be writing about how to persuade people to change their minds, not just about the candidates but about some broader issues in the campaign. But I haven’t any new ideas about that right now, nor have I seen any recently that I think are worth passing on to y’all. So, book reports, comments about movies and music and driving, and with any luck the next chapter of Better Together in the next day or two. Oh, and baseball.
