Well, and t’other day, Your Humble Blogger happened to be listening To the Best of Our Knowledge (a fine show distributed by PRI), and the theme this show was presidential humor and, well, I missed most of it, as usual, but the bit I did hear was great.
It’s about Bob Something, and Monkey Bowl and Al Gore and ... well, it’s a great story. Trust me. It starts about 29 minutes and 15 seconds into the Real archive of the program and ends about 37 minutes and 45 seconds in, which makes it—less than fifteen minutes, anyway.
Oh, and if your local public radio news and whatsit station isn’t getting TtBoOK, that’s too bad. Surely there’s an hour or two a week they could give it; NPR has been off its game lately, and deserves a nudge.

Excellent. I had heard part or maybe even all of the song before, but I didn’t know the story behind it. Thanks!
Also, you can check out the Monkey Bowl album in question, Plastic Three-Fifty, at the iTunes Music Store.
