I was just this morning thinking about writing a how-many-people-will-vote note. On DKos this morning, UMBC’s Tom Schaller predicts 124,000,000 votes cast. That’s to think about going in to the booth on Tuesday; you are voting by yourself, but the election is something we do together.
At least a hundred million people, all voting together to decide who governs. I’m inclined to think Prof. Schaller’s a trifle optimistic; Vardibidian Predicts (we’re never wrong unless you count factual inaccuracy) 121 million votes.
