This Tohu Bohu has been pretty near dormant for a while, Gentle Readers, and it will be a couple of weeks, at a guess, before Your Humble Blogger gets back to rambling at the usual rate. I’ve been busy, almost entirely pleasurably, and I will continue (I hope) to be pleasurably busy for quite some time. The odds that I will have both the free time and the inclination to blog much are pretty low. I will, I hope, slap up the occasional note, but perhaps this spring would be a good time for you to take up reading another, more frequently updated blog to supplement this one.
One thing I have been busy doing, of course, is preparing the household for Passover. As I’ve remarked here recently, I buy into the idea that the more one tells of the departure from Egypt, the more praiseworthy that person is. Passover is by far my favorite holiday, but it sure takes a lot of work. Still, I’ll take this opportunity to repeat what we say at the end of the seder: Now we are slaves, next year may we be free. Next year in Jerusalem (for various values of Jerusalem, not forYHB corresponding with the earthly city of that name).
And, enjoy the Beckett centenary. Do not go.
