Oddly enough, Cook’s’s Illustrated did a bit on teas recently, and iIrc they made the discovery that bagged tea could be quite good if one dispensed with the bag (as illustrated above). I’ll have to go hunt that up and fact-check myself — I could have it entirely backward.
