Heigh-ho, Gentle Readers all. I won’t waste your time (or mine) whining about the customer service of a certain internet and telephone service provider; it’s over now, and I should be able to get back up to speed pretty quickly.

Anyway, what’s coming through now is four weeks’ accumulation. It’s pretty skimpy for four weeks, but remember that I haven’t had internet access, and as it happens, I haven’t been reading print newspapers, either, so my only news is NPR, half-listened to whilst breakfasting. Furthermore, I haven’t been doing much serious reading; as my Gentle Readers will see, it’s been mostly trash of one kind or another.

Now that I have access again, I’ll be doing my usual browsing, and I hope I’ll find lots of inspiration. I intend to do regular analysis of political rhetoric; I will still have a few candidates, and now I can read transcripts of most speeches, instead of relying on snippets of the audio, with NPR replaying the Howard Dean “Hyaaaah!” over and over again. I mean, it’s good radio and all, but enough. If any Gentle Reader wants to point me to a speech, and ask me what I think, I promise to take a look at it. I am hoping to do some analysis of the State of the Union address, and the responses before too long.

Redintegro Iraq,
-Vardibidian.
