Your Humble Blogger loves the Oscars. Well, no, I find them immensely frustrating, but that’s part of the fun. And to add to the fun, I want to run an Oscars Prediction game. And since most of the fun is over by nomination time, this game starts on Thanksgiving.
Do you need to know the history and tradition of the Oscars to play? No, you do not. Do you need to research the Academy’s tastes and habits? No, you do not. Do you need to know anything whatsoever? Nope.
If you are interested in having a little flutter on the Oscars, please email me. I’ll explain how the game works, and set up a web page for the players. I’m hoping for a couple of dozen people, so if your friends are interested, send them along. The idea will be something like the Hollywood Stock Exchange except less complicated and with more trash talking. Anyway, let me know. Frivolity rules!
