Your Humble Blogger somehow managed to neither become a Big Fan of Terry Pratchett’s Discworld stuff, not become a hater. They are sort of like off-brand potato chips; I tend to consume them absent-mindedly, without much actual enjoyment, but without, you know, stopping. As with all of his stuff I’ve read, I picked up Thief of Time from the library, since I can’t really imagine I would want to read any of them more than once. Of course, I often am unsure whether I have read a particular Discworld book before, since they ... well, I was about to say that they are all the same, but that isn’t true. Many of them are different, and some are very different. But many of them are the same as many others, as well.
In fact, I can’t really remember which one this is, and I’ve just finished reading it.
