... grumble, grumble, stupid Senator, stupid voice mail system, stupid full mailbox, stupid web forms, stupid gang of stupid fourteen. If these stupid voters had just elected the Jew Motherfucker a few years earlier, this never would have happened.

Well, I’ve called my Senators. They are both on record as No votes (surprise!). Because stupid Senator Byrd (the winner, if you recall, of a Thousand Years of Mockery from this Tohu Bohu) joined stupid Senator Nelson and stupid Senator Johnson are willing to defer to Our Only President in conspicuous default of their constitutional duty (and not for the first time, either), that gives stupid Senator Frist the leeway to tell stupid Senator Chafee and stupid Senator Snowe to go ahead and vote their stupid consciences, because it won’t actually protect anybody. And the next nominee can be Genghis Fucking Khan, because, you know, Mr. Justice Alito had bipartisan support.

Still, I participated, I told my stupid Senators I’d support a filibuster on the floor—hell, I’d support Puerto Rican revolutionaries at this point—and they will do as their conscience bids them.
