The things you learn when you read a book aloud. For instance, I had read Dragon Rider twice silently, but when reading it aloud as a Bedtime Book for My Perfect Non-Reader, I discovered that Twigleg sounds a lot like C3PO, that the mountain dwarves are irritatingly nasal, and that there really aren’t any long, draggy bits in the middle. Well, I kinda knew the last one, but it’s good to have it confirmed.
