While YHB is at the Book Reports, I did pick up Sir Givret the Short from the library and read that. It’s an attempt by Geoffrey Moore (note: actual name Gerald Morris) of the Squire’s Tale series to make a sort of Junior version for younger kids (or more likely, kids with reading levels not up to their classmates, I’m guessing). I don’t remember the book very well; I remember thinking it was dopey, but not irritating or awful.
