Next-gen display technology
Samsung SDI is working on OLED displays—Organic Light-Emitting Diodes. I know nothing about OLEDs besides what it says in this Palm Infocenter article, but they sound pretty cool (better in pretty much every way than LCDs), especially since there are also flexible and translucent varieties. Samsung is expecting to have them in production for PDA screens by late 2003, for laptops by 2005.
