Another step toward electronic paper
A new display technology: plastic transistors that can (theoretically) be embedded in a flexible plastic matrix. 256 levels of grayscale, 50Hz refresh rate (good enough for video). Article at MSNBC describes a working demo model with 4000 transistors. Cool beans. Not quite there yet, but another good step.
