I keep staying up much too late doing things that really could've waited 'til morning.

So I'm about to go to bed. But first wanted to mention that today (1/3/02) is the 110th anniversary of James Ronald Reuel Tolkien's birth.

I wonder what he would've thought of the movie as a birthday present.

(I'll post what I really thought about the movie sometime soon; I have copious notes, just need to coherentize them.)
