Ongoing technology failure
Last night I settled down to edit (and do various other important tasks that I won't have time to do in the next couple days) and discovered that my OS 9 partition was unreadable. Spent the rest of the night trying to fix it using Norton Utilities, found that it has unfixable bad blocks. Ick.
My luck is still holding up, though: the disk is intact enough to back up, and the only two files I lost were entirely nonessential.
But it means I'm unlikely to have email access for much of today, as I reinitialize and restore from backup etc. So don't count on quick responses to anything.
