Cheap laffs and other entertainments
I'm sure millions of people have already pointed you to this photo of George W.
So instead, you might be amused to find out how SWIL (my college sf group) celebrates Valentine's Day: with a reenactment (in the campus dining hall) of the Valentine's Day Massacre.
Not to your taste? Okay, how about Pixar's site, where they've posted all of their major short films? (Sadly, there's only an excerpt from For the Birds. But the others appear to be there in their entirety, including Luxo, Jr..)
Finally, one of them SWIL types pointed out that the cover of a recent issue of The Economist would make a great album cover for a new punk band, and Charles Danforth replied with an image of the cover for the next book in a well-known series.
That's about a month's worth of items I've been intending to post, though I'm sure I've missed some. No time for more; just doing this in a brief break between work and more work. Btw, I should note in passing that I got more sleep last night than I've had in weeks, which was very nice.
