New Google game
I missed out on the Googlewhacking craze; it's probably passe by now. But a friend just introduced me to a new Google game: you search on Google for your name followed by the word is, all in quotes. For example, searching on "Jed is" tells me:
- JED is a freely available text editor...
- Jed is returning.
- JED is a commercial product of SMART Research BV, specifically developed for the efficient distribution of single-copy newspapers and magazines.
- Jed is an honorable man.
- Jed is the proprietor of Webstart Communications...
- JED is one of Australia's PC/104 manufacturers of CPU cards.
- jed is whooped
- Jed is not scared of girls...
- JED is a brilliant programming/text editor...
- JED is small, fast, feature-rich and free!
- JED is a project to provide an online Encyclopedia of Military Information covering equipment from all military periods.
- Jed is saving his money to buy his own barbershop...
Not as entertaining as results for some other names, but it'll do.
