404
Every day on the way home from work, I pass a freeway sign that tells me how far it is to various points south. Among other things, it says:
Los Angeles 404
It's probably a sign that I spend way too much time online, but my only other association with the number 404 is the HTTP "404 Not Found" error. I'm tickled by the notion of someone out looking for America, and doing a query on Los Angeles, and getting a 404 error.
But that's probably just me.
