WorldCon attendees
So far, at least 11 of our fiction authors have mentioned that they'll be at ConJose (including 8 who I haven't met in person), and at least 6 of our other authors/artists. (Probably more; I just haven't been tracking that as carefully.) And at least 7 staff members. Won't be able to swing a cat without hitting someone affiliated with SH in some way.
Add in Rumor Mill people, and people I know from other conventions and other sfnal contexts, and local friends who are attending 'cause it's nearby, not to mention all the new people I'm likely to meet, and it adds up to looking like an extremely social five-day weekend for me. Especially considering that a recently out-of-state friend is visiting today, and two out-of-state friends are visiting on Thursday.
So if you see me 'long about Saturday evening hiding in a corner somewhere, don't worry; it'll just be socializing-overload.
