Switzerland joins UN, Harry Potter made downloadable, film at 11

Huh—I'm sure y'all who watch newscasts 'n' stuff already knew about this, but I only just heard that Switzerland has joined the United Nations.

In unrelated news, Warner Brothers is allowing people to download the Harry Potter movie using a video-on-demand service. You pay them $4, you spend a few hours downloading the film, and then (using special Microsoft software, apparently) you can watch the movie for 24 hours, at which point it expires. Baby steps, and this may end up going the way of previous interactive-TV and video-on-demand systems, but still interesting.
