Not my day
So we had our weekly SH fiction-editor meeting tonight, and I went into the database to make a small update to a bit of data, and I carelessly left off part of a command, which resulted in all of the completion dates on our task list being reset.
It's not even close to a worst-case scenario. A major annoyance, but the data in question isn't essential. And there may be a recent backup available, and if there isn't, I have a month-old backup from which we could restore most of the data.
But still. If nothing else, taken in conjunction with the various things that went wrong earlier in the day, one could easily conclude that I'm just not paying enough attention to anything today. Sloppy.
I drove home very carefully.
