Powerless
How's that for an overly dramatic title?
The last thing I did at work this evening involved being in another cube. I unplugged my PowerBook, left the power cord plugged in, and made a mental note to be sure to remember to take it home with me, because it would suck to get home and realize I didn't have enough battery power to get me through the evening.
You can guess the rest.
The power cord is still at work. My spare battery was mostly charged, but not completely. The first battery's now dead, and the spare is down to 20 minutes of charge, which I'll reserve for a quick email check in the morning. So I must perforce go offline for the night. Sigh.
Ah, well, maybe this'll force me to go to sleep at a vaguely reasonable hour for once, and let me get to my morning meeting on time.
