Philip K. Dick Award nominees
Both of the Carol Emshwiller books published by Small Beer Press in 2002 are on the list of 7 books nominated for the PKD award for best speculative fiction book published originally in paperback. Carol's really been getting a great deal of (well-deserved) recognition lately; I'm pleased that we did an author focus on her right around the time she was rising to greater prominence. I admit that I had never heard of her before we did that issue, but now I like her work a lot.
