Warning re Safari!
Hoo boy—according to a thread on an Apple discussion forum, a few people who've used Safari to download files from the web have seen their home folder deleted. Needless to say, even though only a few people are seeing this behavior, it's a Big Deal. I can no longer recommend Safari until Apple figures out what's wrong and fixes it. I think I'm gonna switch to another browser myself, at least until I have a chance to back up my files.
