It was a scary bear
Bank of the West has a new billboard advertising campaign that shows various humans grinning as a large bear looks over their shoulder. (See their site for an example.)
Maybe it's just me, but I think the grins look a little forced, perhaps even a little panicky. I'd be panicky too if there were a bear looking over my shoulder. I'd be thinking, as the people in these ads seem to be thinking, "Maybe if I keep this grin plastered across my face for long enough, the bear will think I'm friendly and I can escape."
It's just not a very enticing ad, if you ask me. "Come open an account at Bank of the West and we won't sic our bear on you."
