CD zapping!
Okay, I'm way way behind on posting links; in particular, I have a bunch of interesting Serious Political Links that I've been meaning to post. But this spectacular-image link has just jumped to the head of the queue:
CD zapping is what happens when you first microwave a CD and then stick it on top of a Tesla coil.
Do not try this at home unless you know what you're doing (and don't mind potentially damaging your microwave).
