Sadly, enigmatic non-A.I. fiction editor Chris Heinemann (at least, we don't think she's an A.I., though I have to admit that nobody on staff has ever met her in person) is leaving the staff of Strange Horizons, after two and a half years with us, for personal reasons. We'll miss her.
But if you're so inclined, you can apply for the position she's leaving open. For more information, see our help wanted page.
Note: Although staff members cannot submit fiction, poetry, or art to Strange Horizons, if you currently have material under consideration with us, you may still apply for this position; if you end up joining the staff, you can withdraw any remaining submissions at that time.
Other note, just to be completely clear: like all staff positions at SH, this is a volunteer job; no pay.
