Yet another housing update
Everything is still up in the air, as far as I can tell. The closing date still hasn't been determined, but it may be sometime in the next few days. Tomorrow I'm meeting with the title company to sign papers.
Kam and I drove past the place last night and discovered that there are now two Sale Pending signs out front. A little research this afternoon reveals that one of the other units (there are five units total in the complex) is in the process of being sold. It's going for a little more than mine did, but the interior photos look a little nicer. But mine has a much larger and nicer yard, and (most importantly) mine has a bedroom that isn't right next to the driveway.
At some point soon I ought to get someone to let me into the place so I can make a comprehensive list of everything I want done to it before I move in, and start deciding what appliances and furniture (refrigerator, washer/dryer, sofa, etc) I'll be buying.
Not much else to report, I guess. Back to reading subs.
