Prairie Home Companion seeks writers?

I heard a Fresh Air interview with Garrison Keillor a couple weeks ago, in which (if I understood right) he said that he's planning to hire some fresh new writing talent for Prairie Home Companion. Of course, it's possible that the interview was a rerun of something old (I kinda thought he already had a staff of writers), and who knows whether the positions are all full anyway. But anyone interested in writing radio comedy (perhaps especially those living in Minnesota?) might want to go find out more about this.

Well, in January 03 I queried about submitting a script for a skit. I was told that they look at them and sometimes buy one. I sent one in.

Six months later in answer to a query on my submission, I was told that Mr. Keillor never takes unsolicited scripts, despite the fact that his business manager accepted mine in January.

Of course they could have instituted a new policy since July. But at the time I figured that they were either being rude, forgetful, or that my skit sucked so badly they couldn’t figure out any other way to discourage me from trying again .
