I recently happened across Nick Gevers's top ten sf short story authors list (from 2001). And Paul Di Filippo's parodies of stories by those ten authors (including himself). And some lovely letters-to-Locus-Online responses to the list (and to the parodies), from such luminaries as Christopher Rowe, Jim Kelly, Rich Horton, Jeff VanderMeer, and Greg Egan.
