Hugos and WorldCon

Quick reminder: if you weren't a member of last year's WorldCon and you want to nominate for the Hugos, you must purchase a Noreascon Four membership by tomorrow at the latest. Attending memberships are $180; supporting memberships are $35. If you're not sure whether you're a member, use the membership search form.

Actual Hugo nominations aren't due 'til mid-March, but you won't be able to nominate later unless you were a TorCon or Noreascon Four member by 31 January.

I wasn't sure I was going to WorldCon this year—was thinking about WFC instead—but I just bought a membership so I guess I'm going. May still try for WFC too; we'll see.

Jed, ASZAS is launching at WFC. How can you think about not coming to WFC? 🙂

Mmm. Just last night I had a really nice Dingle chicken pie, washed down with a pint, just two blocks from the 2004 WFC site.

It’s a pie made of chicken dingles. Need I say more?

Oh, phew. I was afraid it was made from a chicken named Dingle.
