Zombies push Jesus
I'm often amused by the headlines and phrasing of news items about weekend box-office results. I'm particularly amused by this recent item from Reuters:
Zombies Push Jesus from Top of North American Box Office
The combined might of Jesus and Mel Gibson was no match for a plague of ravenous zombies at the weekend box office in North America.
In other (unrelated) movie news, this just in from Kevin Smith:
[Jersey Girl is] not that far removed from Chasing Amy. [It's] kind of the same thing, except we swap out the lesbian for a 7-year-old girl, which is probably illegal in some states.
