Job update

Today I signed and returned Google's offer letter (I'm hoping the fax reached them), and officially gave notice at Macromedia.

I'll be at Macromedia for four more weeks; I start at Google on the 18th of October.

Scary. But I think it's the right thing to do.

Many thanks to all who provided help, comments, suggestions, and/or a sympathetic ear during this process.

Heck, Catherine O, Jed’s sexy no matter whom he works for.

    *grins, amused at Jed blushing*

Congratulations, Jed — on the new job, I mean!

*grins merrily and goes to find some more ice cream. I’m clearly too punchy for my own good.*

Congrats, Jed! So, I’m gonna call you up whenever I need to search for something. Like my sunglasses. I can’t find my sunglasses.

    Hee—thanks, all.

Greg: Your sunglasses are wedged between the couch cushions.

(I tried Googling for Greg’s sunglasses, but that didn’t help. Maybe you should ask Sandra if you can use the search engine from “Lost and Found“?)

…When I was a kid, my father used to say “My father and I know everything.” I would ask him a tough question, and he would say, “That’s one of the things my father knows.” In that spirit, my other recommendation about your sunglasses is to ask Kenny.
