Two more authors

Really must go sleep. (I forgot to mention in that last entry that I got far too little sleep Saturday night and then couldn't get to sleep until very late last night.) But first, here are two more items that I'd have added to my entry re authors the other day if I'd known about them:

  • Elizabeth Bear, whose story "Two Dreams on Trains" will appear at SH next week (we're on vacation this week), has posted her novel All the Windwracked Stars in installments in her LiveJournal over the past few months. She notes: ". . . it's Norse Fantasy. It's also Cyberpunk. Sort of. And periApocalyptic science fiction." It's free; if you like it, you might consider buying her unrelated novel Hammered (published by Bantam Spectra, and apparently just released today! Unless I'm misreading the publication date at Amazon, which in my current state of consciousness is quite likely).
  • M.C.A. Hogarth, whose Jokka stories have appeared in Strange Horizons and elsewhere, is having a sale on various pieces of her art through January 6.

Must sleep.

Thanks for the plug, Jed. 🙂

Naturally, the piece that’s flying out of my crate is of a Jokkad. Despite my not having any new Jokka fiction out lately! *shaking head* I don’t understand it, but I am not complaining. 🙂
