I just came across the acronym SCIF (pronounced like the boat), a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility. I knew the concept—Miles makes use of one in the Barrayaran Embassy on Kibou-daini in Cryoburn—but I didn’t know the name.

I also particularly liked that the Wikipedia page currently has as its only see also link the Cone of Silence.
