Aquafied
Microsoft Office v. X for Mac is now shipping for MacOS X. Which I suppose is good, but the writing on that page is weird even for an ad. In particular, this: "In fact, the Aqua highlights on Office v. X for Mac almost make it seem like an organic part of Apple's new operating system itself." Didn't MS get in enough trouble for trying to make one application seem like part of an operating system? And this: "For instance, dialogue boxes—there are over 800 of them throughout the Office v. X suite—look exactly like the dialogue boxes you see when you work with Mac OS X." Um, as opposed to all those dialogue boxes that look like they belong to another operating system? If the biggest selling point of this version of Office is that it uses the OS's standard dialogue boxes, then the product's in big trouble.
