Tied for first
This past week, submission volume went down a bit after Monday, but we still received an average of over 9 stories a day over the course of the week, which is one and a half times our usual average. Total submissions for the week ended up tying with our previous record high submission volume for a week, which was set a year and a half ago when (I think) some big magazine or other for writers first listed us as a market.
But I suspect that this past week was just a fluke, rather than an indication of things to come. So far, submission volume has grown steadily, but slowly enough that we've been able to adapt to the changes (with only occasional high spikes), and I expect that to continue for some time to come.
