I'm always pleased when film and TV stars are willing to make fun of themselves.

I've never watched Late Night with Conan O'Brien, but someone pointed me to a part of the show's website that has some video clips. Kind of a cute intro paragraph:

Since most of you were illegally sharing Conan video on the Web, we decided to put all the new video in one spot and update it occasionally.

Apparently the show does a series of video spots featuring "Triumph," a talking-dog hand puppet. Judging by the "Triumph Visits the 'Star Wars' Nerds" clip, they're reasonably funny but fairly mean-spirited, verging on offensive. Most of the clips on that page are Triumph pieces, and I'm not going to bother watching the rest of them. But down at the bottom there's a series of brief "Celebrity Secrets" clips, in which William Shatner and George Takei (among others) reveal deep dark secrets of their past. I found Shatner's very funny; Takei's funny enough to be worth watching; and the John Ritter and Snoop Dogg ones only mildly amusing.
