Yet another minor milestone
Sometime in the past few days we received our 5000th submission. Yay!
Went from 3000 to 4000 in five months; took four and a half months more to get to 5000 (plus a month of not taking subs). Slow steady increase in volume continues apace.
Our average response time for the past six months has been just about exactly 22 days (for 900+ stories received and responded to during that time), which I'm very pleased with. Though that'll go up a bit soon, as it doesn't count stories we haven't responded to yet, and we have a fair number that have been hanging around for over a month. Ah, well; even our maximum response time of two months (which we haven't exceeded in quite a while now) is still a lot better than most pro magazines.
