Quick update
On the one hand, only minimal Net access.
Also, as far as I can tell, all the mail that I send is being silently thrown away, which makes me extremely unhappy. Particularly since that apparently includes all autoresponse confirmations of receiving stories. I'll see if I can re-send everything from New Jersey tomorrow. If you're waiting for mail from me, I apologize.
On the other hand, I got to wander around the Swarthmore campus this afternoon, visited an old friend and former manager (one of the computing center staff) who I haven't seen in years, saw all the new and under-construction science buildings (and the new dorm they're starting work on), tried to visit an old professor (she wasn't there, but we spent a while looking at the photos, sorted chronologically, of everyone associated with the linguistics dept. over the past 15 years or so), then in the evening attended a lovely long roundsing (9 other people showed up despite short notice and despite the fact that they're having another one on Sunday. Yay! And I had forgotten just how much better the belltower's acoustics make things), then hung out with Josh B and Jim M and Melissa R for a while afterward. So life is mostly pretty good, except for the online part of life.
Didn't make it down to the Crum. Oh, well; next time.
