schvitz
To "schvitz" is to sweat; more commonly, a schvitz is a steam bath, as one might take in a sauna.

A schvitz is both the steamroom and the bath; one takes a schvitz but a building (or neighborhood) has a schvitz. Also, to be careful, the verb is used to mean ordinary (or rather, non-deliberate) sweating: “I’m schvitzing like a pig, here”. Although technically one goes to a schvitz to schvitz, you would never say that “he’s going to the Y to schvitz”. Although, I suppose, when in a schvitz, one could say “I love to schvitz!”, meaning, it’s good to get all the sweat out of you. More likely, “I love a good schvitz”, with the noun form. At least in my experience.
